happy to talk

Why spend tens of thousands of dollars for a guest speaker who will tell you how society will end, why humans are awful and Western Civilisation is the cause of all the world's problems? Why leave your audience uninspired, slightly afraid and guilt ridden about their own existence?

If you must do that, invite me for a fraction of their costs and I will debate any guest you like.

Or, I am happy to simply provide an inspiring talk to counter the prevailing intellectual narratives and the global zeitgeist about how to think about "our most pressing problems" and leave your audience with some ideas to chew upon that they will not be able to hear elsewhere.

So, if you would like someone to:

Explain Popperian epistemology and why all other approaches to knowledge like "Bayesianism" are false
Unpack "optimism in David Deutsch's sense"
Inspire with a talk about the worldview explained in "The Beginning of Infinity"
Intrigue with a talk about the science and philosophy discussed in "The Fabric of Reality"
Counter the mainstream pessimistic narratives
Provide an optimistic vision of technology and the future of humanity
Unpack the differences between AI, AGI and ASI
Connect cosmology, physics, epistemology and economics
Explain the virtues of fallibilism
Dive deep into the conjectural nature of knowledge - including mathematics.
Provide insight into the surprising results from quantum theory and the "many worlds interpretation" of them.
Raise into consciousness the unappreciated cosmic significance of people...

Or any of a hundred other topics...

Just get in contact by emailing [email protected]

A sample of the many interviews and talks I have delivered on just some of all that can be found here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsE51P_yPQCT6rueSgzeFPYam4NNgYs8p&si=5KCDMuGTY-5U1__u

I have appeared with: David Deutsch, Naval Ravikant, Peter Boghossian, Yaron Brook, Bret Weinstein, Michael Shermer and other prominent intellectuals. I have worked with some, debated others and always consistently defend a unique take on our present circumstance as a civilisation from a pro-Western, Enlightenment-defending position.

I can appear remotely at your event or, even with nothing but costs covered, I can travel to you. You can also "DM" me on @X at @ToKTeacher . This is a labour of love (and civilizational necessity), not a money-making venture.
